Summary

	The Tentacle Beast was a snake-like creature that lived on the moon Oricon during the Dread War. Its origins were unknown, but some scholars have speculated that the beasts were either the progenitors of the Gree species, or were created by the Dread Masters using Sith alchemy - or both. Beasts could burrow underground, move at incredible speed under the surface, and then attack unsuspecting prey by emerging from under the ground. The animals varied greatly in size, from a few meters to tens of meters in length. During the Dread War, the Tentacle Beasts were spawned - or summoned - by corrupted Bothrium Beast who lived the cave in the Rooted Depths and then commanded by the Beast Lords and acolytes of the Dread Guard - possibly with a help of devices called Bioenergey Enhancers - and helped them guard the area around the Tangled Grove.
